In recent years, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the two main cities of Israel, are becoming one of the most important gastronomic destinations in the world thanks to the enormous variety of recipes resulting from the country's history, a history made up of thousands of people came from all over the world and fused the dishes of their places of origin with local cuisine.

Tel Aviv is a city in constant evolution, being at the forefront of large European cities. Its cuisine has also evolved to be recognized as one of the most innovative and influential in Europe. Its modernist-style cafes and bars and its large culinary markets such as Levinsky and Sarona stand out, where you can buy the best local and gourmet products. Additionally, the influx of vegan restaurants stands out, leading the Israeli city to a healthy and ecological life.

Jerusalem has a more classic and rooted gastronomic offer than its neighboring city, but it has still managed to position itself to be among the top 50 of the best gastronomic destinations in the world according to the prestigious American magazine "Travel+Leisure". Jerusalem is the ideal place to taste the most typical products of Jewish culture such as Kurdish shamburak, a pie with breast, potatoes and chimichurri or Machneyuda, a beef tartare accompanied by plums. Also notable is the sabich, a pita filled with slices of fried eggplant, slices of hard-boiled eggs, hummus and pickles, all sautéed with a touch of both, a mango derivative.
